| The ultimate
Nashville outsider, Canadian Shania Twain (Eileen Regina Twain)
conquered the country music world with her second album, THE WOMAN IN
ME. Famous for her midriff-baring outfits, Twain conquered the rest of
the world with the 16-times platinum COME ON OVER, which brought her
global pop success, a contract with Revlon cosmetics, and a Country
Music Association Entertainer of the Year award. In 2002, Twain (along
with producer/husband Mutt Lange) made the unusual move of recording and
releasing the album UP! in both country and pop versions, revealing the
full extent of her remarkable crossover status. |
